  1. Really like this. My mother in law would buy this in a heartbeat. Looks like some fancy lighting from an upscale store.
  2. That community challenge with the wicked witch really did a lot for your vision over the last year or so. Awesome stuff.
  3. I like the bottle that color. But maybe thats just me. Interesting though the difference in colors between the firing.
  4. Finally got back into the studio today. Been a while. Spraying tomorrow.

Welp. Just finished spraying after 3.5 weeks of not touching a pot. Trying some new glaze combinations.

  5. What Tom said. No way I would post pictures of my studio. I haven't been in there in 3 weeks. I have mold growing in my clean up buckets. Beautiful organization!
  6. 3 weeks of a sinus cold and no pottery makes a man go crazy. Well this man anyways. Trying to get back into my studio tomorrow!

Sneezing while wearing a respirator builds back pressure: for the record.

Have you been to the doctor? I thought I had a bad head cold. It was two days before Xmas so I thought I would see my doctor before the holidays. Turned out I had pneumonia. Had to skip Xmas.

I go to the hospital a few times a month to see my blood doctors. They do nasal lavage and test it for everything. Clean so far. I have no idea what it is. It is almost over though. Ready to get back out there. I have been doing a lot of glaze study and reading.

  7. I like how you put your name in the design. I didn't catch it at first. Very clever. Nice Mug.
  8. That toasty reduction. soo yummy. interesting how all this works in the bodies.
  9. I like the shino craze. Beautiful. Is this ox or reduc. I am assuming reduc.
  10. Video'd myself throwing off hump. Nothing like a video to remind yourself of all the mistakes and extra things you do to a pot.

Joseph, I couldn't find a place to follow your blog. Did I miss it or is there just no button?

  11. Of course this is my favorite one. = ) I love the armor bumps.
  12. Like glazenerd, I really like the lazor cut clay. Looks very interesting.
  13. Sure. I'll let you know honestly what I think. I have thrown a lot of different cone 6 clays. Ill make you a nice yunomi or something.
  14. Are you satisfied with the T10 coma crystals? I think the crystal color looks more appealing in the Coma clay. It looks much more vibrant imo. The background looks more peach colored compared to the big tile which seems more brown, but it could just be angle of light. Interesting stuff.
  15. Highwater's Clay is much softer than it used to be. Or I was just getting old batches.

Last order of clay I got from my supplier was almost soup. Had to dry it out on plaster boards. Next time I am opening a bag before I pick it up.

That would be awful. I want it soft but not soup or wet.

Check the made on date. My supplier stamps all their in shop clay. They are pretty good about rotation, it's (FIFO) First In First Out.

  16. I still enjoy these a lot. Beautiful work.
  17. Rolling out grid test. Made about 15 of them. Red clay, Black Clay, Porcelain, Brown Clay. Yum.
