painting the new potters stools today. Hope to finish them today and use them tomorrow.
-
Pat, I answered your comments on my page. I was out of range in the moutons in Montana for a few days.

perils of moving into a used house. It took 3 city water dept. guys 2 hours to find the turn off valve for the water system as a pipe was leaking from being frozen. They found the meter and the turn off valve behind a built in structure in the basement. So much for working on organizing the studio. Plumber comes tomorrow. One guy was the former mayor.

picking up clay tomorrow. Wish I could have picked it up yesterday and mixed it today in a balmy 51 F.
-
Where are you getting your clay these days?
-
I am picking enough up for a batch of raku from the red Lodge Clay Center. However, it seems to be 25% higher than the Bray prices. And they don't publish their prices. They said they don't publish them because they are so low. Not the case.
-
I am going to be in Helena at the Bray on friday and will pick up more there.

pieces packed for delivery to the gallery in Nye, Mt. Threw pots for an obvara demo during the opening on June 3. Beartooth Highway pass opens Friday local access to Yellowstone. And my rocket science husband jammed last night at the Snowcreek Saloon. The stars were bright in the sky. Happy to be here.

planning on re-pugging about 500 pounds of porcelain that I brought up from TX.It got to be too hard to wedge. Rehydrated it 2 days ago. Finished painting the kiln shed door and fixing where the snow melts leak in. Seems like a summer projects for most in town.
