  1. Had my first MS relapse in 10 years Saturday the whole right side of my body went numb.  My hands still work  so I can still stumble out to my studio and still work.  I guess it doesn't take too much to make me happy.   Denice

  3. Happy with my firing of holiday gifts. I see myself getting better results (design & finish) each time I put a kiln load together.

  6. Went hunting on Monday and Tuesday with my Dad, 91 yrs old. Had a good time, but then we did not get a deer. . . it wasn't about getting a deer.

    Will be away again Friday and Saturday doing same.

  12. My update is more about self-reflective accountability that any news worth sharing. I am (really, really I am) working on my web site, using Old Lady's suggestion to put pics in my inventory spreadsheet (didn't know how--now I know how) and making some gifts for Christmas-porcelain trays, mostly.

    "Terry Buffington, known to us as the vibrant Pugaboo, lost her husband on October 4 to a serious illness.  He had been ill and hospitalized for several weeks.  I know Terry would be glad to hear from her forum "family".  I am sure we all feel part of her loss and would like to express those feelings to her."

  21. Started off by getting my wheels down from their storage spot. Then it went to giving them a good scrubbing. It quickly became me taking them apart, to really scrub off the decades of build up and lubricate the necessary parts...

  24. preparing my kiln shed for the new lid with counter wieght for my large oval kiln. Removed everything in the rafters, and a lower rack system. Installing a new temperature controlled exhaust fan above the kiln.
