Folks, I will be away for about 10 days. No. . . not more hunting. . . My wife and I are going to the Southern Caribbean, on a cruise. It is our 45th anniversary, and has been planned for several months now. Also, I will not have the quiz and the question of the week this week or next week. I will be dropping in now and then til Friday, but then not certain if I will be on afterwards.

It is really WHITE up here in the great white North. High today 2 F. and the snow crystals are minuscule...but accumulating. Light weight shoveling anyway.

Last day of sales-then time off.I have been making at least 3 drops a day to outlets and today is the last day of that as well-ya.

I am out of porcelain.  I am out of clear glaze.  I do not want to mix more right now.  I discovered today that I need to change two elements due to glaze landing on them (I do not know how they have been firing so well) All signs are pointing towards hanging it up for 2017!

Had my first MS relapse in 10 years Saturday the whole right side of my body went numb.  My hands still work  so I can still stumble out to my studio and still work.  I guess it doesn't take too much to make me happy.   Denice

Happy with my firing of holiday gifts. I see myself getting better results (design & finish) each time I put a kiln load together. 

I am sure it was a long road but I am happy to have shared some of it with you. Thank you for walking along side and showing your path to me.

It's wet and cold, so sitting here preparing notes for running a "Slip-Casting and Mould-Making" session at next year's Potters' Camp.

My update is more about self-reflective accountability that any news worth sharing. I am (really, really I am) working on my web site, using Old Lady's suggestion to put pics in my inventory spreadsheet (didn't know how--now I know how) and making some gifts for Christmas-porcelain trays, mostly. 

My previous post should have read more snow now, and more coming, ...sigh. Fired raku this evening with snow still on the ground.
