I am missing the moderators and key resource/info people who are (recently) not here anymore---the place just ain't the same.

Losing John was almost as bad as losing Tom, I know he is still out there in the world but it still hurt. I don't want to make it seem like Tom's passing is any less poignant but it feels the same.

In the midst of rebuilding my tower. CPU was 6yrs old, went dead. Requires a new Mobo, CPU and RAM as everything was out of date. . .no longer manufactured, and none out there. Oh well, should be up and running tomorrow.

My test kiln is still waiting on me 'finishing' the software so it works well. Keep getting a few weeks of inspiration then a good few weeks lacking any urge to program. Too cold and dark now to fire the gas kiln.

Glaze fire IN! As usual on the strength of one good test I have done something new with a whole kiln load because apparently I'm insane. I think it's going to be fine, though. I'm 98% sure.

Not had any time to run any new tests. Just old bisque pots from my studio and same with the glaze. My matte white came out pretty clear which was interesting.

Hit cone 10 before I even reached 1psi. Could still probably get another 2 firing out the left over gas.

Anybody ever had their instagram account follow a load of random people? Mine has about 300 new follows that were not me, I don't think I have used anything dubious with instagram, no third party apps.

Not sure there is another solution Roberta. I will do it in little bits as they appear in my feed. Just don't want it to happen again.

It's weird, I have seen the spammy accounts but this is completely different. I hadn't even used it for a few days and I open it up and my feed is just random peoples pictures. Right now if I look down my feed I have a hiphop dj, somebodys kid, a lad with a protein shake, a skater dude, big frying pan with some tasty food. It goes on and on. It's like I was used to follow a load of accounts, well about 300-400. Now my feed is full of crap.

Ordered a 3D printer kit. So I will assemble it and make a clay stamp. Probably take about a week to get it.

What make did you go for? I have always wanted to tinker around with one.

I have a dipping glaze for my classroom, but want to have a small bottle, do the students can brush it on as well. What should I add to the small bottle? Epsom Salts to keep it suspended? Gum solution so it dries slower?
