  1. Running a bisque and a test kiln firing. Cleaning the house and spending time with my son. Can the day get any better?

  2. Looks like the server migration gave the forum temporary amnesia for a 24 hour period, 6/30-7/1. The Administrators are aware. If you posted or added to your gallery, check to see if items are there; if not, you'll need to repost.

  3. DIY and a kiln still at 600degC makes one sweaty potter

  4. Broken collarbone :-( No Pottery, No Cycling, No Sewing, No Gardening, No Life !

  5. I think I dreamed that I figured out a way to do slow-drying, only quickly...'might have something to do with a late night Pizza :)

  6. Making more test tiles, I think I have started to love testing as much as throwing. Added a vase to my gallery.

  7. Cavy Fire Studios. That is my final choice of a name. It's actually a rather personal name, as my daily pain is a trial by fire for me--just like what my ceramics endure. The cavy brings me joy--two halves to one whole. Don't care if it's too cutesey to some, as one cannot please everyone--I am cavy fire!♥

  23. i am proud to be an oldlady. though not very ladylike, i like the fact that i am old. since i died on an operating table at the age of 33 i have made a lot of pots, some good, some OK. i hope i have hammered the rest. still a beginner, will always be a beginner, every blob of clay can become anything and so is a beginning.

  24. Happy Pie day-not the eating kind. The numbers one!

  25. I have spent the last 3 nights up till the early hours researching kilns and firing cycles. Bloop!
