Second full day of workshop in Kilmun. Finished about 4 pm. Will post pictures whe I get home.

send me your email and I will send you better pictures of that granite kiln. I has hundreds of pics of fire boxes and kilns throughout Spain from 30 years ago. I just got Graphics converter but when transposed it downsized from 40k to 9k. Marcia

Setting up what things for the studio I brought up in the van.I got 5 convection heaters which should [produce more than enough heat. I can install them in the morning. Then Christmas Eve dinner with friends.

Slab roller is broken down and ready to load. I love Bailey equipment. My pug Mill is also ready. Took the lever and counter weight off, wrapped the pressure gauge as that got broken last move.

I have moved kilns and my kickwheel a couple of times. Last move I hired it out, they said they had moved ceramic studios before. My studio was in the basement and we had three floors above it full of furniture.

Went shopping today and I felt like I was grilled. If you like grilling and being grilled approximately 8 to 10 months a years, then South Texas is the place to be. It doesn't get cold for long here.

Yea I guess people are going on holiday. I am firing the final celadon test tonight before I mix my 10gal bucket tomorrow and get listings back up and start taking pots to local places that want my work. so much to do. did you ever get to fire or did heat beat you today?

Slowly getting across Texas. Stopped early today due to snow. made it from San Angelo to Amarillo. 800+ miles total. late start yesterday and early stop today. 8 hours driving yesterday and on;y 7 today. tomorrow Cheyenne or Douglas Wyoming, Things will be warming up a little.

9 out this morning: nice sheet of sleet/ice on the road. Winter in the US of A has arrived.

Sounds about right we drive about eight hours a day. My husband doesn't like my driving just because I don't drive like a little old lady like he does, so he does all of the driving.

I like hot chicken soup on a cold day when I'm healthy. Soup loses it's
taste if you have the flu...might as well be drinking rock soup! When I
go to any store and hear someone coughing up a left lung on isle 3, I leave.
If the food is free, it isn't worth 4 weeks of influenza. Let's break bread
over a homemade ceramic bowl of soup while healthy.

spent the weekend firing foil saggars. Experimenting for more colors. got a few keepers and will retire the not so stunning ones with different salts.

Spent yesterday working on my website while keeping my dogs calmed down while contractors worked on the kitchen floor . I added a page on installations plus fixed glitches in the links.
