I did a residency at the Bray but I use to take my classes these to see the art. I bought my clay from there for the University. This trip is fun. 23 Annual Wild Women's Weekend at Chico Hot Springs. My girlfriends and I do this every year. I miss them since I moved to Texas.

  7. Had a nice pre-workshop meeting on South Padre Island. People decided what types of firings we'll do in two raku kilns: raku, horse hair and feathers, obvara and saggars. I gave them sme terra sig to prepare the pieces after some demonstrating.

faceted, beaten, sodium silicate heated on surface, then thrown from the inside only. Interesting. My physicist husband is intrigued by the surface behavior of the clay.
