After 16 years with my bailey wheel, I replaced the potentiometer in the foot pedal. It is running and stopping just fine. The problem was that all of a sudden it would lurch when I turned on the motor. It is now fine.

no. I called bailey, described the problem and they sent me the parts. Disassemmbled the foot pedal, cut the solder ed wire off the old potentiometer, rewired the new one and put the pedal back together. They sent a three page instruction with all the info about the pedal. easy to do.

Just found out I won third place in the Texas Clay Art Association's 2014 Six-pack show. It was a small foil sagger-fired pot.

Heading home from Milwaukee on Sunday. saw a show Old hands in clay by masters 70+, the Racine Art Museum had an awesome Contemporary Ceramics Collection including Beatrice Wood,Bill Daley, Jack Troy, many others.
