It's crazy windy up here, too. My living room window was open and one of the blind thingies broke off from the wind knocking them around all crazy.

  4. weather is stirring up. I still have seven pieces of raku to fire., but now I will start rolling slabs and then start throwing

  5. reglazed or touched up some of my pieces from my "disastrous" Saturday. It wasn't really all that bad. The pyrometer worked this morning during a firing. I only lost one piece and that was old. I wasn't upset about it.

They were beautiful. My favorite was the heron with the reflection in the water. I could go on for days about all the reasons I like it.

not pig pen. It is a slip trailer of sorts with a tiny compressor so the grip is loose. Should make continuous likes without getting cramps.

Most forecasts show mid 40 to low 50. Heavy rain on Thursday. Night time temps just above or at 32F. Looks like I will have a rain coat, hat, and winter coat. I get cold.

  21. Ready for a week of heavy rains. I know it isn't what many of you are suffering right now, but I need sunshine in the winter.

You can just send that rain to KS. We are still in a drought. I would give up our first week of sunshine for rain.

I like hot chicken soup on a cold day when I'm healthy. Soup loses it's

taste if you have the flu...might as well be drinking rock soup! When I

go to any store and hear someone coughing up a left lung on isle 3, I leave.

If the food is free, it isn't worth 4 weeks of influenza. Let's break bread

over a homemade ceramic bowl of soup while healthy.
