Can I have a day off from everything? I want to just stay in my PJs and lounge around and do nothing useful for a WHOLE DAY.

Finally got the table top slab roller assembled; now I have to tackle all those compressor fittings and learn to use it, and the guns. Slow going, but better than not being in motion at all!

My house/studio was burned to the ground in the Valley Fire that started very close to my home. Our street was the first to go and my area is totally destroyed. 75% of the homes in my little town are gone. I had over 300 pots ready for fairs and of course, all the pottery we use daily. Glazing fish today-they take time to get right.

Glaze load last night. Shut off at 3:30am. Tired this morning. Long wait to see what new glaze did.

My kiln is fixed! My kiln is fixed! I learned how to replace power relays!
-
Por fin! I finally get to finish a lot of raku pieces with the new air pen. I hope it works as well as I think it will.

I'm tired of stepping on and over bags of clay, so I'm putting it all in 5 gal. buckets adding water and mixing it up by hand. This includes bags of river clay, stoneware, red earthenware, and anything from the yard or garage. So far its one big tacky mess, but should be ok once I add the sand and gravel and fire this weekend. I have at least two more buckets to collect!!!
