Getting into the Red Lodge pace of living. Library book sale today. Recycling open Wed. and Sat. $10 bag of select produce or $20 bag of select meat during the first week of the month. Movies show for 2 days. So far I have seen Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, Bourne movie, and Rogue One. This is the oldest continual use Theater in Montana. There are a few couch filling in some of the space. Taking one of my dogs to the vet today. H has a bad heart murmur and is on medicatio...

getting ready for a big trip to Italy to teach a course at La Meridiana. I posted a photo under events and will make updates during the course. Meeting an old friend and colleague fro 35 years ago. She is in Florence on a grant to paint. Looking forward to it. 2 brazilians are joining in on the post travel event to Faenza and Ravenna.

getting ready for NCECA. Anyone got a clue what the weather will be like for the next 2 weeks. I am visiting family nearby and will be there until after Easter. How to pack for this squirrelly year!

Most forecasts show mid 40 to low 50. Heavy rain on Thursday. Night time temps just above or at 32F. Looks like I will have a rain coat, hat, and winter coat. I get cold.

Getting ready for the holidays at home. First Christmas at home in years and not visiting family. Looking forward to staying put.

Getting ready to leave Texas this morning. Dark and foggy. Cats have been drugged, harness on one. one last shop cart to put into my van along with a suitcase, winter coat. too bad my snow boots are up there. Should have a very white Christmas with 17" of snow!

getting some work fired and new ideas developing in the studio. Planning on working on Color development for my foil sagar firings. Material is at the post office for building my big raku kiln. Need to make bigger pieces for my galleries.

glazing espresso cups today and then preparing raku slabs for glazing. Glazing is one of my least favorite things to do.

Guess I am the oddball: I have a very old brent whell out there I have turned on 3-4 times. Watching a wheel spin does not excite me.

Going to Argentina today to see a museum of traditional pottery. Then two ceramic artists will show us their studio and the lunch on the coast and home. Looking forward to a relaxing day.

I did a residency at the Bray but I use to take my classes these to see the art. I bought my clay from there for the University. This trip is fun. 23 Annual Wild Women's Weekend at Chico Hot Springs. My girlfriends and I do this every year. I miss them since I moved to Texas.

going to the countryside studio to fire foil saggars and obvara firing with the workshop group. I'll be back Sunday, hopefully with pieces fr my exhibition.

got 7 slabs glazed today but feeling kind of slow...still a little sick. Beautiful weather down here today. In the 80s and lower than usual humidity.

Got a three shelf storage and counter top done today. It is starting to get cleaner and more organized every day. I can start making things soon. Got Clay!
