Somewhat slow going, since the guy assisting me with my web design/development is doing it pro bono (i.e. no charge-he owes me LOL) but it's off to a good start and I am psyched about making a functional site with an online store.

I'm a sad guinea today...I just found out the founder of The Art Spirit gallery, my favorite place, passed away on Dec. 31st from ALS. Guys, he was so awesome. He really liked my work & encouraged me to submit it... I'm really sad...

I had some Laguna ^5 Porcelain sitting around in a 5gal bucket for a year or so. Sooo, I cleaned my wheel of stoneware (spotless) and my tools, so I made some candle holders with in the Mishima technique. Do you think it would be better to fire with a clear glaze of without? I want the colors in the design to be bright.

neck deep in tax data entry-the dark side of pottery business

hanging overhead storage in my studio today. Rain expected tonight followed by dropping temperatures.

Just returned from visiting family! Drove over 1500 miles and had wonderful times with family and friends.

arrived yesterday after 4. Wyo. wind was treacherous with interstate 25 closed to high profile vehicles. Friends stopped by to say hi. Three batches of housewarming gifts. Great to be back in Montana

Getting ready to leave Texas this morning. Dark and foggy. Cats have been drugged, harness on one. one last shop cart to put into my van along with a suitcase, winter coat. too bad my snow boots are up there. Should have a very white Christmas with 17" of snow!

85% load on the truck. large kiln went up the ramp on a double cart.

THe container is in our driveway. STarted loading tonight. hope to be in Montana at our new home by Sunday!

Getting back into pottery this coming week. I haven't touched clay in almost 2 months now.

Wheek! Miss me? ♥ I got the clay bug again after months of pouting.

Starting to get a feel for what a "rhythm" looks like in the balancing act of 'making and marketing'...'makes me appreciate much more those who do this full time in the clay world.

Finally launched Etsy Shop last week and had 1st sale this morning...not much, but it is a start!

I am off until Monday for Thanksgiving. Loaded my 16CF with all the thrown items to be bisq'ed. Threw the breaker- no power! Neighbors pole barn runs off my transformer, they shut it off this morning so he could unprade his power. It is raining, so I guess I will post in the forums all day!

xmas production is going thru 400-500#s of clay per week now

First day of Open Studio went very well. I'll take some pictures tomorrow (Sun) and post in the gallery.

Keep finding treasures from the bookshelves. I am keeping favorites. Got rid of some studio junk yesterday. Today I am tossing the old hurricane plywood.
