elisesurma
Has anyone ever seen a glaze that turned out close to this color? I have some pieces that would look great with this color scheme. Thanks! Elise
Min
@elisesurma, commercial glaze or recipe and what firing temperature, oxidation? I've got a ^6 recipe that is quite close to the colour on the inside of the pot, you are welcome to the recipe if you want it. (it does have a lot of ingredients and includes a stain from US Pigment)
Gabby
While Amaco Potters Choice Toasted Sage doesn't seem from its name that it would be this color, it always comes out this way for me.
Hulk
Looks just like our Heath plates.
Mark C.
A fellow student whom went to UCSB with one of my brothers in the 60's in ceramics was Heaths glaze guy later in life. That looks just like a Heath color to me ,fired to cone 10.
elisesurma
I don't feel experienced enough to make my own glazes, but thank you Min! Does Heath sell glaze? Thank you for your help.
