Not on my workbench, but to let you know what I have been doing. These shots were from delivery of pieces to Savannah Bee on June 24th.

Yeah, I am retired, but what does that have to do with the love of making pots?? At any rate, I am also painting a bathroom, as my wife decided we needed a color change with the new shower in the downstairs bath. The old one was thin plastic liner that I poked a hole in the corner when caulking. New stall looks so much better.
Getting started next week on mugs and honey jars, as the order should be coming in before too long. Need to buy more clay soon as the last of the boxes is nearly gone. Think it will still be the hazelnut and the SC630.

Busy guy! I thought you were retired
I just went through 150 lbs of porcelain trying to find one that I can throw with.  I found one that I think I like, but need to see how it does firing.  I made a bunch of bowls, bottles and flower pots with it.
I need to make a lamp for my mom, and I need to get back to bowls, plates and mugs soon.  This week I am going to do a lot of work, hopefully get a bisque and 3 glaze firings in this weekend.
I contacted a new farmers market in my town and I have a list of things I need to borrow or buy in order to do the market.  A square reader, a canopy, business cards and a sign at the very minimum for this one, and hopefully will start to be able to build up enough show things to sign up for a few holiday shows.  Fingers crossed anyway.

Working on a bird bath 18" diameter, a long loaf paten for double chalice set, and first four of a series of  floor vases for Christmas. Pictures to follow.

Pres reacted to Callie Beller Diesel in QotW: What would your tool kit for doing shows include?
Hmmm. I have a simplified kit for outdoor shows, and a few more added items for indoor ones. (You'd think it'd be the other way around!) Mostly my outdoor work is a weekly farmer's markets, and the odd night market. Indoor shows here are more the norm. The outdoor stuff is mostly street festivals here.
    The simplified kit has:
business cards, an assortment of writing implements including chalk for some display signs, price stickers (mugs mostly), Square chip reader, backup swiper, credit card payment signs, note paper, email sign up forms, duct tape, packing tape, dressmaker's T pins for tablecloths, scissors, utility knife, multi tool, string, wire, sandpaper and a Kemper stone, business card holder, tissues, lip balm, gum, pocket container of Advil, 2-3 band aids, hand warmers and 2 vitamin c powder envelopes, 3-4 cough candies and a cash apron with float. All this fits in a train case that I found at a thrift store. I have another box for table risers and sandbags to prop bowls on so people can see inside, 2 sizes of paper bags and tissue, my main table cloth and a sign.
For indoor shows, there's more boxes of booth accoutrements, like my lighting setup including extension cords, power bars and Velcro ties (moving away from zip ties because I only need them for cord control), additional risers and sandbags, additional table cloths, curtains, s hooks to hang curtains from pipe and drape....
    I think that's it.

Assorted diamond discs, that's about it!  And of course all of the black Costco bins with yellow lids that are packed full of mugs and bowls and plates.  I have I think 6 completely full now, I can't really pick them up and move them around because they're too big and heavy, but when I end up doing a show I will repack into more manageable loads.
One other thing I like to do after firing is to take pictures of the work, so I will pile it up inside and then wait for a cloudy morning to bring it all outside for pictures on my rotting deck.  For that it's an ancient Canon DSLR with a really really nice 100mm f2.8 macro lens and adobe Lightroom for editing.

Well golly, Pres.  You didn't leave much room for me (can't speak for anyone else) to add much! Your list pretty much covers it all...and much more than I have in my studio (no grinding base or GG-- if  it won't Dremel off or respond to the various diamond-based assists and other manual processes, then it's just not happening). Then again, I'm not cranking out jars with lids, and  my inherently "rough" style lends itself to very minimal finishing  needing to be done. Packing I've got down to a science and am pretty good at it, but I don't do anything special that anybody else doesn't do, as far as standard practices go. If I use newspaper, I do make an effort to use sheets of interest from our local publications, like The Weirs Times, serving the Winnipesaukee lakes region of NH. Here's a sample of a pic I would use as a wrap. And I often include a small moose hanging ornament along with my biz card. My smalls bags are white, blue, or brown Kraft and I have a sticker with my logo to seal them shut.

I think we should include Marcia Selsor  in our list,  her work with soluable salts, raku and pit and saggar firings is mind blowing .  She has probably has created as many potters has she has pots teaching at universities and around the world.     When I visited her in Yellowstone I would have bought one of her soluble salt pots she was taking out of a firing but they were already sold.   Denice

Hi folks, again no new QotW in the pool so. . . .after last weeks QotW about handbuilding and throwing tool kits lets extend to Glazing.  What would your basic tool kit for glazing be?
I have been doing a lot of spray glazing of late, and will start off with a pair of dip tongs(for base coat dip glazing), compressor and spray gun. I use a simple one that uses standard quart jars that works really well for my purposes. I would also add a banding wheel, a bucket of water to clean out the sprayer between colors, and a small brush for brush work over glaze. Glazing for me also includes cleanup before loading into the kiln. Include here a potters sponge, a bunch of 1" sponge brushes, a bucket of clean water. I also wax bases of all of my pots before glazing so that would be with an electric skillet and paraffin.

Add scale, dust mask (not a throwaway), graduated cylinder, Epsom salt and/or vinegar, several sizes of kitchen whisk (already mentioned, however, I have one chucked up in my lightweight portable drill - lighter than the 1/2" corded drill + grout mixer), long scraper to check for globs on bucket bottom and particularly the corners, screens/sieves, masking tape, razor blades and utility knife, wax emulsion, map gas torch, assortment of brushes, grout sponges, bucketS, small/purpose cut sponges, patience to wait for stuff to dry, more patience.
Haven't been into tongs at all, might give it a go...

Looks like everyone has a pretty complete list,  the only thing I would add is a pair of disposable gloves.   When I was in college I had a reaction to a wash with copper carbonate in it.   I  took my gloves off to get some wash into a tight area.    I only got it on my fingers but my teeth went numb after a few minutes.   My professor asked me if I had been wearing gloves,  I told him I took them off for a few minutes.  He said now you know not to take your gloves off.   Denice
