so i have been contemplating this, and I think you need a 6x6 dance floor in the middle of the studio so when a good song comes on you can just drop what your doing and break down. for example:

If you're really feeling groovy you can mirror the ceiling so your disco ball really lights up the place.

Recieved my first commissioned work today. A large tile mural at City Hall depicting city history. The high school art class and local college art class will be involved. I get to mix in my beloved crystalline pieces as well.

The Houdini Challenge: Make a sculpted piece of 6 or more pieces that when assembled one way it has this appearance. Then if assembled another way, it looks totally different. Or, a painted surface of several pieces that look one way, and then rearranged look like something entirely different. Sad thing is, even though this is my idea: do not know if I could pull it off. Bait and Switch: Pair off in teams of two: each member of the team has totally different aesthetics and designs. One member makes a piece in their style, and the other one has to replicate it and vice versa. Good way to make ourselves learn something new. Nerd -
I thought Community Challenge #5 would be a cake walk because I am a tile guy. After seeing just a few posts, I am getting very very nervous. Forgot how talented the people are in here. Do judges take bribes?

I have been on the forum for roughly a month now. I must say it is an honor to see the works of so many talented and gifted people. The willingness to share knowledge and information is also commendable. Just thought it needed to be said.

I think pottery is an area where your vista is constantly expanding ... The more you learn, the less you know for sure. The narrower your focus, the wider your possibilities.
