I had a small article posted in Ceramics Monthly, Tips and Tools page, December 2016. NO big deal but then Whooo Hoo!

Kiln reached cone 10 about 30 minutes ago...now to walk away (and stay away) for about 30 hours. #Whew

I hate winter, it's dark by 16:30...

packing, sorting and getting ready for a garage sale. 2 trips going to the dump with AC vents that were left in the attic. Sorting through my Spanish pottery collection that I haven't unpacked in 27 years. There is a lot of things I really don't need.

Random thought, what would happen, if a Raku piece were put in a container of cooking oil as a means of reduction?...

Crunch time. Wrapping up custom orders for the holidays and looking forward to a little break around Christmas.

going to Montana this weekend to close on our house. VERY EXCITED!!!

After owning my first wheel for two weeks: I have gone through nearly 100lbs of clay centering and pulling simple forms. I actually pulled a ten pound cylinder today: my first attempt with that much clay. I have also been using my own custom porcleain and stoneware bodies: which I like alot better. (bias intended)

So glad this site is back!!!!! Thanks to whoever fixed the problem!

back up and running! What happened?

Got some cement board, to replace the canvases in my classroom. Good Lord is that stuff heavy!

Found a small Olympic gas kiln that I can use for crystalline reduction. Now I have something to test stoneware clay bodies in as well; the missing link.
