It's official, and medical mystery solved. I have Addison's disease. So an end to 30 years of declining functioning and having my issues foisted off on alleged "mental problems". Too late to rescue any of my multiple careers - but at least I still have enough life left, and now the energy, to spend lotsa time playing in the mud!

Oh but its ALL BETTER now. 10 mg of cortisone twice a day and I'm about as normal as I can expect to be, given my age now. Even my son was impressed (and relieved, I'm sure, given how much he's had to help me especially the last 12 years since things got really really bad).

It's sad how many medical conditions get written off as "mental problems" rather than diagnosing and treating the physical malfunction. Glad you now have it under control.
