Just watched the DVD from Ceramic Arts Daily...Jason Bige Burnett's "The Graphic Pot". I can definitely recommend it...and for anyone from Colorado, it may not be what you think it is

So I got busy and made three sinks for a house I am renovating. This past week I loaded them up and bisque fired them. One of the three survived the bisque firing. The good thing is I know how to efficiently make two more. Must allow more drying time for 1/2 inch thick ware this time..

Just so you know... a sharpened needle tool, when knocked off a countertop, can put a hole in one's foot. No need to try this for yourself, trust me

Working night shift on Christmas... Good thing I brought my new John Britt book and I now have a years subscription to ceramics monthly.

Love it when a glaze comes out completely different than it is supposed to. Not sure if it was the different clay or I didn't apply it on the same way.

Finally, after many ,many practice sessons , I finally threw a big bowl that looks like it should.. weight is between 12 to 14 lbs with a diameter of 17.5'' ... practice is paying off

I am glaze depressed. I can't find any commercial glazes I like, and I can't seem to find a simple glaze to mix on my own = (.

Good results on our last glaze firing- Porcelain makes glazes come to life, very vivid color.. we even made some slip to test it on other clay bodies, results were just like the body itself.
