Oh no--no need for the "sorry"...don't do that!!  It is kind of ridiculous to  try and make someone feel "warmer" by detailing how much more frozen and cold it is somewhere else! That's like telling someone who has lost a limb that "It could be worse, you could have lost both". When you're cold, you're cold!! Bummer about having to defer your work, too. Hope it warms up soon. 

Nothing to be sorry about,  we are  jealous.   I  heard  how cold it was in Florida a couple of days ago.   I wondered if people even owned coats in Florida.   Denice

denice, i went to the library the other day wrapped up in a cashmere (found in a thrift shop) sweater, a cotton turtleneck and a thick wool sweater on top. and heavy denim jeans.    a man was coming out of the library in flip flops, shorts and a t shirt.  we looked at each other oddly.
