Pam S
Once upon a time I found a great source for custom stamps and then lost the bookmark. I'm looking for a hard stamp to imprint our studio logo on our pottery. So far my search has only come up with very expensive metal casting stamps. Any sources? Thanks, Pam

Claypple
I personally like Jetstamps.com I think the guy is using 3D printer. The stamps are great for clay.
Tristan TDH
I use jetstamps.com. I and many of my potter friends have gotten our stamps made by Brett there, he does a fantastic job. Very precise, well made and long lasting stamps. I recommend him without reservation. ( sounds like I get a kickback right? Lol. I don't )

RPMpottery
To save money you can make your own at shapeways.com. It's a 3d printing service. For a simple flat stamp you can upload a black and white image. You can also use 3d software to build more intricate stamps. I use Blender ( http://www.blender.org/ it's free open source software.) I've made stamps that cost as little as $2. The biggest stamp I've made is $29. Small press molds can be made this way too.

I looked at Blender but had a hard time thinking in 3 d for curved surfaces. Looks like shapeways would be good for straight sided logos or simple patterns. I've had good luck with silicone mold release as well as murphy's soap, what works good on these molds. Wyndham

They have ceramic too plus 10+ other materials to choose from. My next order will be in stainless steel.

Chris Throws Pots
I had a custom stamp cut by 4clay.com and am extremely pleased with the result. It's laser cut from steel. I use it as a maker's mark on the foot ring of all my pots. It's tiny and precise.
Mossyrock
I had a logo stamp made for custom mugs by my local printer who also made stamps. I ordered it without the handle and got a flexible stamp I could press onto the mug for about $6.
lhgrubbs
The best source for a custom made pottery stamp has got to be www.claystamps.com. They will make a custom stamp from your mark in brass. or from any images. The Clay Stamps last forever and come with a 100% guarantee of satisfaction. I have a number of them myself so I consider the cost reasonable to get a hand made product.
Brian Reed
I have used 4clay.com in the past and it was a good stamp. However it was about $100 for a 2X2 stamp for mugs. I used it made the mugs and all is well. I was looking for an alternative and asked another potter who they use. I had a new custom mug order and I used the new place I was told about. They made jus the rubber stamp head surface without any backing or handle. The cost was less that $30 shipped and it is a nice stamp. The company is a local business Masters Mark. http://mastermark.com I havr not bisque nor glaze fire the new mugs yet so the proof will be if the stamp was deep enough. It was not as deep as the first one I had made. We shall see. Figured it was worth the price. All others, like jetstamps, claystamps seem expensive to me.
