Were Airstreams built in Kansas? What's the connection b/n clay conferences and trailers? I lived in an Airstream in 1960 for à couple of years!!! I guess they'd make a nice pottery studio!

I know one is a pottery/art filled one-maybe they need two now?

That is the one!

Flying out at 5 am. looking forward to seeing many many old friends and some new ones. NCECAI is like a Rite of Spring...an infusion of creative energy in an assembly of like minded creative clay people. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone and as many shows and talks I can manage.

I love seeing Christmas decorations in different countries. I have a collection of international ornaments. How many people go to hardware stores to shop in Paris? how much clay?
-
I am afraid if I use porcelain I would accidentally put in my puugger with stoneware. And that would be very very bad or very very good, LOL.
What porcelain do you use?
-
I am using Bray porcelain ^6 for glazed ware. For saggar firings I use Coleman, Babu, Nara. I have Nara for ^5 and ^10. I have some black clay I want to experiment with and I have some of Nerd's ^6 porcelain cream cheese. I mix my own raku clay but got some Piepenberg raku from a friend here. Too many types, but I do a lot of different tye firing.
