just made some plaster molds while waiting to trim some porcelain pieces.

Just fired saggar. Pots for the third day. learning curve is growing. playing with sulphates and a cobalt alloy. just ordered a manganese salt.

Welcome to the forum. This should kit start your experiences with clay. Life is short so make the most of it. Take some workshops. You can get a lot out of them.

I am also from Texas via 30 years in Montana.

Teaching is a great service job and can be very rewarding. Glitches can be working conditions, administration, etc.

But there are great rewards.
