Rebekah Krieger
My zinc has been a huge problem. I have used a mortar and pestal by hand for small amounts but I have a decent amount. Is there an easier way to process this at home without having any special equipment?
Min
Whiz it in a blender. Either dry then wait for the dust to settle before opening the blender or with some water then pour it out and add a bit more water to get the residuals. Dick White
The easiest way I have discovered to process it is... don't. Head on over to the big river in S. America dot com and order cosmetic grade zinc oxide in 4 lb bags. It is already finely ground. Upon opening, store it in an airtight jar. Pres
I use a stick blender with a plastic cover seal, wait until the dust settles, and will be fine. best, Pres Rae Reich

JohnnyK
I have also found that a small coffee grinder works pretty well. Pres
