I have used and liked her work for the past 35+ years. We had the same teacher. She can no longer lift a box of clay.
but a pug she can handle. She gave up shows long ago but still supplies a few outlets.

we're all getting older.
You have a good heart!

Monday glaze day-been nursing pulled back muscle all week
-
ouch! Pulled the muscles down my right side a couple weeks ago, still need help loading the kiln and lifting boxes of clay. Hope you heal fast, hard to slow down isn't it?!!
-
Could not put socks on for a few days and no I do not heal fast at 65 anymore. I took this week off from glaze firing and am only moving lighter loads.I may take two days to glaze and load two kilns this week instead of 1

Never got over 50 degrees at home today and raining and we are freezing after a month in Molokai

Our favorite Thrift shop is Islands thrift in Oak Harbor on Widby Island if you get up that way. Its more visted these days but still a great spot. It works so well as the airbase is nearby and has a constant turnover of folks who dump most of thier stuff moving to another base.

We usually hit about 6 of them on a Saturday or Sunday, we have a few in the neighborhood and then some church based ones that always have awesome weird old stuff that old ladies leave to the church in their will.
This coronavirus thing has us jonesing for a thrift store fix, none of them are open

I know what you mean, we drove by a estate sale Friday in our favorite historic neighborhood. We thought if there wasn't very many cars out front we might take a look. There must have been fifty cars parked up and down the street so we drove on by. It is really the houses we want to see and this one was a plain old farmhouse not a grand old mansion. Going shopping at Trader Joe's tomorrow, plan to get there for senior shopping hour, we went a few weeks ago and running late. We were over run by young people not wearing any masks or distancing. You would hardly know that there was a pandemic here, the only people wearing masks are elderly, clerks and some waitresses, I am expecting another spike. Denice

Here in Central PA, hardly anyone under the age of 60 is wearing a mask, numbers are rising all over the state, and the number of cars going through the area from other places is really up. I often see plates from Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, and others. Never noticed so many before.
best,
Pres

Putting my feet up and watching it snow today
-
Me toooo. We have quite the blizzard going on. Glad to be home, not on the road, enjoying a warm fire and leftovers.
-
We are still in the 70's here, it is suppose to start cooling down this week. January and February are miserable, do you really have snow falling or did you buy a snow machine. Denice
-
no it snowed a bit then in am turned to hail then rain.. The snow was enough to snap enough trees to close our major 2 lane road to the east for 3 days. That was about 15 minutes from here at high altitudes
