Pyewackette reacted to ChenowethArts for a gallery image, Decals Fired - Cityscape Bottles
The tree images on these Cityscape bottles are what the HP Laserjet decals look like once they are fired to cone 6 (oxidation). The slide-off decal paper came from: Decal Paper, 12610 NW 1115th Ave. - Bldg 200, Medley Florida 33178. The printer that I used is an old HP LaserJet4000TN...ink from this printer includes enough iron that it fires very well onto previously glazed surfaces.

Pyewackette reacted to Stellaria for a gallery image, Little "yo-yo" pot
Stone white glaze. Only yoyo pot I made that survived both trimming and glaze firing.

Pyewackette reacted to Stellaria for a gallery image, Milk-fired bowl, side
It definitely gets darker where the milk collected while wet. Next time I will give it a good sponging from the top to try to get the milk to collect evenly in all the crevices.

Pyewackette reacted to Patsu for a gallery image, Bowls
Stoneware bowls. Comment freely. One banded, one plain. 3 stripes, is about as fancy as I get. it is nice how the unglazed exterior feels on the hand; secure, direct, under control. Not slippery really, though vitrified.

Ceramic bottle turned on a kick wheel then slip was slopped over , when dry terra. sig. applied heavily to get the cracks. Terra with soda added. !!
