Having a dabble into changing firing schedules to get rid of bubbles. Tried a slow cool with no luck, still just as many. Tried a hold at 900c for 20 mins after reading that is the temp dolomite and whiting have finished gassing. Excited to see if that has made any changes.

Hope it works out. Don't forget to make a sacrifice to the kiln god, or at least some kind words.

Me too , I am hoping that the small amount of frit won't melt the glaze too early and trap all the bubbles.

try a slow climb to let the gas escape before the glaze melts. Or are you rubbing smooth with a dry finger when the gaze dries. Do they appear in the surface after glazing or only after firing?
