I plan to be there. I've been looking for a hands-on workshop similar to this that's within reasonable driving distance from my home.
-
I've signed up for the workshop at Brackers - really looking forward to it!

Get home safe. And try not to set Kingsville's tornado alarm off this time. LOL And don't forget to wave.

safe travel, seems like you have been on the road for ever!
-
That doesn't sound very happy. Safe travels and hey, see you soon in Barcelona again. I hope you still like to come...

reglazed or touched up some of my pieces from my "disastrous" Saturday. It wasn't really all that bad. The pyrometer worked this morning during a firing. I only lost one piece and that was old. I wasn't upset about it.

They were beautiful. My favorite was the heron with the reflection in the water. I could go on for days about all the reasons I like it.
-
Happy for you that the disaster was a small one...

Big slabs are ready to fire. First batch is already in the kiln. I have about 8 to fire today.

removing oval kiln lid today...with the help of dinner guests. Ordered a new lid and need to clean rim where I used kiln cement to repair damage from our move. Getting a counter weight which this old body needs. will use the old lid as a base for my new large top hat raku kiln.

reorganizing my studio. Antoinette uses a shoe holder for a wall of tools in the pouches. She lines each pouch with a plastic cup. Brilliant. She is much taller than me. I am cutting the shoe holder into sections: one by the wheel, one by my glaze table and one by the slab roller.

Genius strikes again! Thanks for the tip, Marcia! I just happen to have one of those old shoe organizers hanging around. If I ever get back into my studio, I think I'm going to have to repurpose that thing!
-
It is a really good was to organize tools...ribs, trimming tools, brushes, sticks, sponges.
-
What an indespensable tip...Thanks for sharing,Marcia..

reposted our pics from Tuscany V. The group is sharing pictures like crazy on a Facebook page. They definitely bonded. They just are not CAD forum members.
