Changed the filter on my respirator and tapped out some of the dust that was captured..'pretty scary that some people just don't "get it".

loaded a huge bisque kiln-firing in am while mixing glaze for Mondays glaze day-I have my cat urn in this load.

Anyone know a good wax resist. I have been using amaco and it gunks up so much it drives me nuts. The only way it applies good is with a sponge. Is there a really good brand anyone knows about?

This just might be the year I wish I had air-conditioning. However, my highest power bill,this yr. is $27.00.

On my way out of the studio tonight I suddenly had a brilliant idea of a way to move things around, have more storage AND more floor space! I measured and everything would fit so of course I started heaving around filing cabinets and bookcases at 12 am. I neglected to move my shelf of drying pottery first and with a huge crash something fell straight on the top shelf, breaking a mug I can make again and a dinosaur piggy bank for my son that has taken me hours to make. :(

Fired two glaze kilns today-was in the 90's around them as the day was a hot one. Two day cool now-hoping for fog

A mug a made five years ago, for my brother broke a couple months ago on the handle. I saw it in person this past weekend. It was not at the attachment point, so not sure what happened.

Those spammers are an aweful nuisance!! Go get some respectable work guys and you won't have enough spare time to get on our nerves!

Today we unloaded a huge glaze kiln containing three months' work. Some of the pieces are better than I thought ... but the kiln overfired on the lower shelves and caused pits and blisters. Will regroup tomorrow when I'm less upset and figure out what's salvageable.

spam attact-the largest I have seen so far-3 pages on events page so far and a few radom threads need a ray gun to zap them
