The larger focal beads I made and fired. This set is a combination of ceramic, semi precious stones, crystals and glass beads strung on silver plated wires.

This set was made using Little Loafer clay, white glaze and laser transfers I printed myself. It's a more simple design than the others but have found it to be very popular.

I continued the design work onto the bottoms to give them a sense of completeness.

This is a combination of silkscreening, stenciling and slip trailing. This is my large size mug that holds up to 20 ounces.

This is my current standard shot for a place setting. It clearly shows everything they will be getting with their purchase. This is just 1 of 5 different images including for each online item listing.

My 3rd attempt at a lifestyle image for my etsy shop and online selling. I added a burlap place mat instead of a tablecloth. The napkin blends well with the tones of the placemat as well as everything else in the image so kept the same color of that. I used orange sections instead of slices. Changed the silverware to more generic looking pieces. Added another light and reflector to fill in the side of the mug so the colors match the bowl and plate better. Cropped more of the table out of the back ground.

Celedon ^9 reduction using burnt umber for a colorant.This was the color I wanted for ^6 Ox.
I did many tests and came up with the recipe posted in the previous Faux celedon example.

Wheel thrown vase with geometric carved design and rainbow pattern in underglaze. Commercial glazes, fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.

Wheel thrown and hand carved. The bottom features a leaf design created by using paper leaves as a resist to the underglaze. Sgraffito designs were added along with a pulled handle and spiral embellishments. Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.

∆6 oxidation

After reading CAD article about making your own transfers, I tried this using a rubber stamp with stain & frit 50:50 mix. Stamped on to tissue paper, applied to leather hard clay. Bisqued to 1000oC. Dipped in transparent glaze & fired to 1100oC in an electric kiln.

Thrown bowls, cut at right angles to the rim. Thin slabs textured with bark, stamps, shells etc. - pieces attached to back part with front cut edge eased forwards to emphasise the contrast between the organic and engineered. Oxide washes applied at dry greenware stage, fixed in the bisqued firing. 3 back pieces were dipped in transparent glaze, front one dipped in tin white (to cover a repair that fired a different colour!). Fired to 1100oC in electric kiln.

I started out calling this light Nodding Amaryllis but it looks more like Solomons Seal.
