Guest JBaymore
Hi everyone. Just a little "heads up" that I'll likely be away from the forum section for a while. I'm headed to the People's Republic of China again. It is a part of my teaching course load for the semester........ with students in tow. We're headed to an invitational ceramics symposium over there. I'm presenting a lecture, demo-ing, and have work in an exhibition. We'll start off in Beijing, and then head to Jingdezhen, and Yixing. We're on a non-stop flight... Boston to Beijing....... 13:45 hours in the plane. Ugh. Very glad I'm in business class. China controls access to certain websites and such, plus I do not know how much Internet access I'll have while there this time nor how much spare time I'll have. I can't remember if I was able to log into the CAD sites from China the past times I have been there, so I can't say if I'll be around the forums at all or not. But I won't be around much even if I can get logged in. The other Mods will be (kindly) taking care of this section while I'm potentially out-of-touch. See you all again in a while. best, ....................john

bciskepottery
John . . . so, if any of us were to pony up the cost of an extra suitcase ($25), you and your students would be willing to fill it with clay and tools for the return leg. Right?

S. Dean
When I was vacationing in China in 2013, I couldn't access CAD at the beginning of my trip. I think I was able to get in by the end of our stay. It might now be on the "approved" list if you know what I mean. -SD
