Pres
Hi folks, a while back I posted that I had used some scrap counter top and other scraps to build a trimming area, that stored at the end of the wheel. Today I am posting pics of how that is working out. best, Pres
Benzine
Very nice Pres. I'm sure those "walls" save you from cleaning up quite a bit of your trimmings. I have a daughter, who enjoys picking up mine, but that will eventually fade...
shawnhar
NIce, I like it, and the magnet strip is a particularly nice addition!
Pres
Glad you noticed it Shawn, as it really helps to keep tools handy. Anyone have a wood magnet? best, Pres

Rae Reich
I made a less-sturdy one for my Brent from a cardboard box of about the same size, its 3 remaining sides turned down and taped for reinforcement. Trimmings are never wet enough to be a problem. I only ever had the front half of the original splash pan, so for throwing I cut away a side and part of the bottom of a cat litter pan. I throw fairly dry so slops aren't much. If I was ever in the habit of leaning on the splash pan when throwing, I'm not anymore.
Denice
Cardboard box is a great idea, my dog likes to clean up my trimmings. I have to watch him to much clay can clog him up. Denice
