Load of Chalice and paten glaze out last night, popping popcorn and mailing out 5. kiln also had 20+ mugs and some medium sized bowls. I am trying the spray on route with the hazelnut, it was not perfect, but much better than most loads with it so far.

New pig tail in, jumper, and holders replaced. Elements were within specs for firing. One set of fuses replaced, and everything put away. Now firing in 99F. heat.

The popcorn is a fantastic idea. I hate packing peanuts, because they get everywhere and are tough to dispose of. The popcorn, could just be thrown on the lawn, and the birds would take care of it. I wouldn't eat it, because "Ew Air Pop.."
-
That was the original idea. . throw it on the lawn. However, it seems lots of folks see a box of popcorn and party! From what I hear.
-
The pots are not where I want them . . yet.

Pottery Quiz of the Week, Week 4 Full answers are posted. I really hope that folks are having fun with these, and read the full answers.
-
Having fun yes.. but also learning new things.
-
Makes an old teacher feel good to know they can still impart knowledge.
-
Think your questions are doing more than that, some of the questions are making me think about things in a different way. Might disagree with some of the answers but if the object of the lessons is to get us looking at things from a different perspective it is doing that. As they say, no such thing as wasted knowledge right?
