Cleaned studio. Getting ready to switch from reddish brown clay to white, B-Mix.

Today we unloaded a huge glaze kiln containing three months' work. Some of the pieces are better than I thought ... but the kiln overfired on the lower shelves and caused pits and blisters. Will regroup tomorrow when I'm less upset and figure out what's salvageable.

Making more test tiles, I think I have started to love testing as much as throwing. Added a vase to my gallery.

I have a chance to buy an older model Nova 18 that has never been used.. not sure if I have an outlet to support it.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of the Glaze Elves, please let me know...I'm getting over run by bisque and can't seem to get motivated to glaze

Started a glaze load at 5:15 this morning. Now to pray to the Kiln Gods that all comes out wonderful!

The "Sky" challenge project is nicely in progress. Sunshine in the studio helps.

Dumped an entire 5 gallon pail of glaze on the floor. Scraping glaze today. Whoo hoo!

Great day of firing on South Padre Island. Beautiful day, nice group and got 11 batches fired.

Tomorrow is my first Throw-A-Thon... I have not had the chance to just set and throw for a day to see what i can do.. Tomorrow it is... many breaks included, thats my style ~

Bought a heater for my garage. Made a bunch of pots today. So nice throwing in 70 degree heat.

I have that uneasy feeling that I accidentally added 2x the amount of Bentonite to a 5 gal mix of Ohio White...And I won't know the exact effect until I test it. Pooh!
