Ummm, did anyone lose some posts? I made a couple comments last night and this morning, and they no longer exist. Unless I'm imagining it all. Is this something to do with the update that was mentioned a while back?

I've been largely offline due to two surgeries and recovery time I think the whole world should know that it took me the equivalent of over 3 days to cull through -- judiciously picking and choosing only some things to check on -- CAD forums, Facebook, and LinkedIn! I empathize w/Evelyn..my studio is essentially shut down for now-just can't do it yet.

My 'bill paying job' is seriously cutting into my clay-related activity...of all the nerve! *grin*

Still glazing...the more I glaze, the larger the kiln seems to get as I load it. Whazupwidat?

I think attaching handles is my favorite part of a mug right now. So much comes from the way the handle looks attached to different forms. It really makes or breaks the form.

Anyone know a good wax resist. I have been using amaco and it gunks up so much it drives me nuts. The only way it applies good is with a sponge. Is there a really good brand anyone knows about?

Changed the filter on my respirator and tapped out some of the dust that was captured..'pretty scary that some people just don't "get it".

This just might be the year I wish I had air-conditioning. However, my highest power bill, this yr. is $27.00.

On my way out of the studio tonight I suddenly had a brilliant idea of a way to move things around, have more storage AND more floor space! I measured and everything would fit so of course I started heaving around filing cabinets and bookcases at 12 am. I neglected to move my shelf of drying pottery first and with a huge crash something fell straight on the top shelf, breaking a mug I can make again and a dinosaur piggy bank for my son that has taken me hours to make. :(

Found a new glaze I like, that matches my base glaze. A deep red with speckles of black where it breaks. Also switching to frost porcelain so lots of new changes. Testing TIME!

You know you are on the wheel too early in the morning if you dip your sponge into your coffee rather than the water bucket #JustSayin

I think I dreamed that I figured out a way to do slow-drying, only quickly...'might have something to do with a late night Pizza
