what do your dislike more; waiting for a kiln to cool or watching paint dry?

Made my first sale on Etsy feels good.

Started on a flower pot yesterday that i have been thinking about for the past 3 weeks..

I can't stop looking on ebay for cheap kilns. I think I have a problem... maybe. I just found a 75 litre kiln for £100! Do I travel the 200 miles to go and buy it :g

loaded kiln late last night, a dozen teacups were part of the load. Went into shed this am on way to work. ONE teacup stll on the outside!! How did this happen?

For small quantities of glazes, what ratio of water to dry glaze do I use?

Spent yesterday cleaning pugmill so that afriend can use it .. now it's so clean, well almost, feel it should be left that way as I won't be using it for a time and can't keep the clay left in pug wet. However it has been character building,.. Maybe I'll offer to wedge the clay instead..

First time I have done a proper cone test in my kiln. Turns out the bottom is hotter than the top. Weird. I guess that big gap between the lid and body needs to be filled!

After three successful glaze firings without any of the wires getting hot I finally trust that the kiln is fixed! Happy days. Time to start making money
