  14. Spent yesterday cleaning pugmill so that afriend can use it .. now it's so clean, well almost, feel it should be left that way as I won't be using it for a time and can't keep the clay left in pug wet. However it has been character building,.. Maybe I'll offer to wedge the clay instead..

Not sure I am in the right place..but here is my story I have a old kiln for over 40 years It is called Kiln Master made by Geo E Brown Sacramento..no longer around..since it doesn't have any controls you just plug it in an out..for low fireing I have just fired about 8 hrs.I haven't used it in about 10 years since I went to school where I did nothing but high fire. no class is gone an I want to fire those new glazes that look like high fire but am clueless..I got some cones since the...

  19. First time I have done a proper cone test in my kiln. Turns out the bottom is hotter than the top. Weird. I guess that big gap between the lid and body needs to be filled!

  24. After three successful glaze firings without any of the wires getting hot I finally trust that the kiln is fixed! Happy days. Time to start making money
