Redbud Series
Following the seasons of life of the redbud tree, works in the Redbud Series are made from cone 6 porcelain paperclay embossed with redbud leaves and blossoms and/or seed pods on the sides; Most feature extruded trim; stains and oxides underglaze decoration, clear glaze; colored glazes inlay and detail, white liner glaze; once-fired to cone 7 in electric kiln. For the home-made glaze afficionados: The pink in the blossoms is a chrome-tin pink.
