Lowfi
Hi everyone, Trying to figure out this brand from a post online. May try to buy this wheel. Can anyone ID the brand for me please? If it is working, I am trying to figure out a fair price. I know that it is very dirty! Thanks, Sean
Mark C.
It may be an old Alpine if you are in the USA.The fair price should be very cheap-I turned down one for free once.

D.M.Ernst
Not sure of the Brand, but remember one from the early 70s. It had no speed control, just on and off. Hated it.
Mark C.
I would pass on this old relic.Keep in mind no parts or device.
oldlady
probably came from old school castoff sale. not a good choice.
Marcia Selsor
I'd say it is an old Amaco from the 50s. I had 3 in my classroom in 1975. Marcia
neilestrick
I was thinking Alpine, too, but I'm not sure. The Alpine wheels were gear driven, not belt driven, so that's one way to tell. Usually wheels like that aren't really worth the effort, IMO. Lowfi
The guy wants 200 for it...
Mark C.
The old alpines had a massive gearbox as stated above. $200 is a dreamer price-$50 is more realistic and thats if it works. It will have very poor speed control.
oldlady
walk away from this one. save the $200 and wait until a good one comes along. they are out there.

Marcia Selsor
The ones I had in my classroom were the only electric wheels I had. There were 8 homemade kick wheels. The electric wheels were gear driven with a knee control pedal. Mane of my Viet Nam vets had difficulties with them if they were aputees. I got a great for better wheels for my Vets.
