jrgpots
I unloaded my kiln conversion kiln this AM. I still have lot to learn, but I wanted to show off a little. This is my first piece using my homemade O2 sensor to control reduction. What do you think? Jed
Marcia Selsor
Firing reds need a special reduction cycle starting around ^09 and it also helps with either a sealed kiln and slow cool. I use to throw sticks into the kiln on the cool down. Obviously you are getting some reduction with that red. You just have to get to know your kiln. That will take a few firings. Good start. neilestrick
Just as telling as the glaze is the unglazed foot. Take a look at all the feet and see if everything reduced. Good start.
