ZenbugArts
I have frozen greenware, which is pretty but I am worried about it cracking when fired. Should I smooth it back out once it has defrosted and then bisque fire it? Or is it doomed and heading for the reclaim bucket?
Pres
I have had frozen work on occasion here in PA. Have never had any luck trying to recover it. I used a light box made from old fridg and tungsten bulb inside to keep piece from freezing after a while. It helped, and in the Summer the fridge worked as a wet box with the light off. best. Callie Beller Diesel
If it had water in it at all, the piece will disintegrate as it thaws. Sorry! Best to make a new one.
ZenbugArts
Thanks for the replies. Deep down I knew the answer, it was a lingering hope that I was wrong.
