Got my kiln going after a near two week of the flu. Feeling good about it.

I'm one tired guinea pig. Made seven yarn bowls and two medium-large food bowls, trimmed and pencil sketched. Gonna be kyoot! WIP pics to come. I sure miss my 30-piece a sitting days, though...

Back to work just turned off 1st bisque kiln of the season

I thought Community Challenge #5 would be a cake walk because I am a tile guy. After seeing just a few posts, I am getting very very nervous. Forgot how talented the people are in here. Do judges take bribes?

Glazing. Its what happens to people who enjoy making things but then can't always decide what those things should look like once fired

I'm discovering that airbrushing with underglazes is pretty cool...having the air compressor kick-in at 4am, awakening the wife...not so much

I have been on the forum for roughly a month now. I must say it is an honor to see the works of so many talented and gifted people. The willingness to share knowledge and information is also commendable. Just thought it needed to be said.

Ah.. Spraying again before the rain comes in. Guess it will be another week of throwing a ton of pots. I am looking forward to nailing down some spraying styles cause its definitely slower than dipping.
