Ordered technical grade/s of kaolins and one ball clay. Iron content is 0.08 which translates to super white porcelain.

Finally cleaned my much needed to be cleaned studio. I think there was more pollen on the floor then clay dust.

I finally found the combination of glazes and schedule that was alluding me for a pot I made a while back that I really liked. I think I will be able to replicate it now on all my work, it still will take some application practices but heres hoping I am finally set on my glazes for a while. Only took 1.5 years of testing glazes to find the combination I wanted....

Three weeks later I'm finally photographing that huge glaze load. Starting to post in the gallery if anybody wants to see.

Picking up 3 stoneware and 4 porcelain clay bodies Tuesday: along with a list of modifiers. It is time to put to use what Ron roy taught me.

Packed up and delivered about 350 pots.

Leaving for KC in about 2 hours to meet up with Ron Roy tomorrow. I will back in KC on Thursday or Friday. See you there!

Enjoying the building excitement of waiting for the kiln to cool down.

Throw yunomi off the hump is probably my new favorite thing to do. its so refreshing to be able to control the foot height after throwing the pot.

Closing on my office/warehouse in a couple of more days. The question now becomes: what studio toy should I buy?
