I started selling when my work was still of sub-professional quality. Just be honest with your customers about where you think you belong in the spectrum of professional potters. You'll be fine. I have some customers who have been following me (and buying) this whole time.

It has nothing to do with the year and everything to do with you. You got some really great advice here.
