      Don't open the presents until Christmas, aka don't open the kiln until fairly cool. This includes peeking.

      GAH!! its at 350 degrees…. the last degrees are the longest!

      As stressful as it is for you, imagine how it would be for the ceramics going from 350 to room temperature in a few seconds.
