So sad, I'm very sorry to hear this.
-
Sorry to hear that, their lives are so short comparatively, and we miss them so much when they go.
-
I'm so sorry Marcia. You gave him the most important thing a dog could want, beside food and water, Love and companionship. may your hurting heart be healed with time and wonderful memories. RIP good boy.

getting finished up on a commission, and getting some work fired and new ideas developing in the studio. Planning on working on Color development for my foil sagar firings. Material is at the post office for building my big raku kiln. Need to make bigger pieces for my galleries.

how much clay?
-
I am afraid if I use porcelain I would accidentally put in my puugger with stoneware. And that would be very very bad or very very good, LOL.
What porcelain do you use?
-
I am using Bray porcelain ^6 for glazed ware. For saggar firings I use Coleman, Babu, Nara. I have Nara for ^5 and ^10. I have some black clay I want to experiment with and I have some of Nerd's ^6 porcelain cream cheese. I mix my own raku clay but got some Piepenberg raku from a friend here. Too many types, but I do a lot of different tye firing.

that is a good idea. I was working on cleaning and moving things to the storage area in the kiln shed. Always something needs to be done. Got some cinderblocks today for the base of my raku kiln and figured out partial weatherproofing for it.

Going out to mix my first full load of colored 04 porcelain.

Dogs sorta become your kids after awhile. And like kinds, very hard to watch them suffering.
-
very hard and feeling helpless. Nitroglycerine seems to help during his worst moments at night. sitting out in the fresh mountain air and sunshine seems to help him the most.
-
