Marcia Selsor
The Whitefish Pottery in Whitefish Montana hires production potters sometimes advertising in Ceramics Monthly. Their production is wheel thrown or was originally. Looks like it still is. Their prices are more in line with Montana. http://whitefishpottery.com/baking-dish/
Stephen
Thanks for the link. What a together site and from the description, what a nice pottery. Their prices are really dead on to the marks we are finding to be able to sell pottery in any numbers.
Mark C.
Montana prices are really west coast prices as well.Seems the east coast they will pay much more for pots than the west.
GiselleNo5
Would it fly in today's society? Absolutely, I would say average people still need jobs and it could work if you are willing to deal with the sheer numbers of the people it will take to find one good potter looking for a steady pay check. BUT....... you are competing with this: best, .......................john Well that's disturbing ...
