  3. an archaeologist friend of mine is currently working on the relocation of southeastern Indian tribes based on cerarefevidence. After the collapse of the chiefdom societies the tribes dispersed in all directions leaving a trail of ceramic debris. The timeline is from 1050 to 1700 CE!

  4. I have been on the forum for roughly a month now. I must say it is an honor to see the works of so many talented and gifted people. The willingness to share knowledge and information is also commendable. Just thought it needed to be said.

  14. A fireplace makes a pretty comfortable place to brush underglaze details...particularly when it is chilly in the studio :)

  15. I just learned from one of my longtime clients that a bun of hers I made a portrait of passed last night. It always hits deep, hearing that. Through my art, I feel like I know them in spirit. :'( I guess I'm weird...

  19. Picked up my compressor and sprayers today. Going to hook it all up tomorrow and start practicing. Really excited about the ability to control my glaze application a lot more than dipping and brushing.

  20. Getting back into the swing of things, finally! Did a bunch of small treat trays, using my new slab roller-felt good to do "something--anything" LOL.

  23. I am gearing for 2016. excited about new ideas and direction.

  24. Moving studios at the moment. Let's hope the new one isn't as noisy as the last.
