Pots by Char
Going to go pick up my new to me Skutt KM 818-3 today. After many years of using my old manual, kiln sitter model kiln I am finally stepping up to the newer programable kind. I am so very happy. I can see lots of new possibilities opening up for me now. Maybe even giving crystalline glazing a try. I always wanted to do it, but never had the right equipment to do the proper cooling and heating cycles. Wish me luck. If anyone has tips or suggestions let me know.

Stephen
congratulations! what did you have b4? The slow ramps and 15-20 minute heat work has really made a difference in our glazes.
perkolator
nice! should treat you well the 818 (and 1027) in our studio is one of the most frequently fired kilns we have. Great size for a small tabletop sculpture or bunch of tests.
