mrcasey
Can green ware pieces like mugs be loaded on their sides in a bisque firing? Will they have a greater tendency to warp? rox54

Callie Beller Diesel
Try a test first just to make sure. It can vary by clay body. I’ve had a few pieces warp ever so slightly in an 04 bisque, and I use a cone 6 red stoneware. I wouldn’t say it’s the norm, but it’s not impossible. mrcasey
