cambriapottery
I forgot to bring them with my wheel. Any temporary ideas to throw without them and without a great deal of sloppy stuff?
Mark C.
use a few towels over your legs and less water or cut a clay box in 1/2 and make it a splash pan untill it gets soaked (they last a long really) Rae Reich
neilestrick
If you're referring to the splash pan, put a big sponge between your water bucket and the wheel head, with the sponge lightly rubbing against the wheel head. It'll catch the majority of the water. You'll still want a towel on your lap, though. Rae Reich

I do happen to have an empty clay box with me. Good exercise using less water. Thanks Mark Rae Reich

It's possible to get by without either - but for specific suggestions, it will help to clarify. Rockhopper it is the splash pans I forgot to bring with me.
