Caroline E
Hello ceramics community, I have a set of studio Skutt kiln shelves that are around 2 years old. We have grinded the old kiln wash off. I was wondering if I flip the shelves and apply kiln wash on the opposite side if it could fix the slight warping? Has anyone had any success on this? Thanks for any help, Caroline
Mark C.
If they are clean flipping will be fine. Just wash the other side. They will slowly warp the other way now. Caroline E
neilestrick
In my experience, they may or may not warp back. Doesn't hurt to try, though. Just make sure they're really clean on the bottom so they don't drop stuff onto your pots. Callie Beller Diesel and Caroline E
